AGENT WITH DETERGENT EFFECT «DEZON TRIAVET» Disinfection in the complex of antiepizootic measures at the objects of state veterinary supervision is a guarantee of the non-proliferation of infectious diseases, including those common to humans and animals. Modern disinfectants must meet the stringent requirements of veterinary and sanitary science, which leads to an expansion of the range of new composite disinfectants. The aim of the work is to study in vitro on reference strains the antimicrobial activity of the modern domestic composite preparation «Deson Triavet». The disinfectant was studied in the licensed Federal State Budgetary Institution «Leningrad Interregional Veterinary Laboratory». The disinfecting ability of the drug «Deson Triavet» was investigated by the suspension method on the collection of reference strains of eight microorganisms provided by the laboratory. For this, working dilutions of Deson Triavet were plated on elective nutrient media: Baird-Parker agar, xylose-lysine-deoxycholate agar, bismuth-sulfite agar, Endo agar, yolk agar with mannitol, polymyxin and phenol red. The following results were obtained: at concentrations of 0,2, 0,4 and 0,8 % and exposure for 60; 30 and 15 minutes, respectively, the drug showed bactericidal properties against the following reference strains: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Salmonella enteritidis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus and Candida albicans. In relation to the reference cultures of Aspergillus niger and Trichophyton gypseum «Deson Triavet» did not show fungicidal activity at the above concentrations and exposure. Further work on the study of the disinfecting ability of preparations of the «Deson» line for their use at the objects of veterinary supervision continues.
